Pinckney Island to close for road repairs

Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge will close for two periods of three days at some point during the next three months so its entrance road can be repaired, officials said Thursday.

It is not certain which days the wildlife area will be closed, according to a news release.

"We are unable to predict the exact days ... so please bear with us while we improve the road access for our visitors," the release said.
