Simmonsville Road lanes blocked in Bluffton after crash Monday afternoon, police say

Both southbound lanes of Simmonsville Road were shut down after a crash near its intersection with Bluffton Parkway, police said Monday afternoon.

Emergency responders shut down the lanes after the crash near the busy intersection around 3 p.m. Monday, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. Multiple Bluffton police vehicles and a fire engine were seen at the collision site.

Drivers should expect traffic delays in the area during the evening rush hour.
