Pre-rush hour collision on U.S. 278 will delay traffic in both directions near Hardeeville

Hardeeville Police are urging rush hour drivers to avoid the Hilton Head Lakes area on U.S. 278 where a traffic collision is delaying both east and westbound traffic.
Just before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, police suggested that drivers use alternate routes around the area.
At the time of publication, a spokesperson at the Hardeeville Police Department did not yet have information regarding the number of vehicles involved in the accident, nor the injury status of those involved.
