After Highway 170 westbound lanes were closed Monday morning after a crash near Okatie, residual traffic delays continued into the afternoon lunch rush. By 2 p.m., traffic was back to normal.

The collision happened near the intersection of the highway and Okatie Center Blvd. North just before 11 a.m., according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. The accident involved a pickup truck and a sedan, which had been flipped onto its side.

No injuries were reported on the scene, according to Bluffton Township Fire District spokesperson Stephen Combs.
