Expect delays if you’re driving on Highway 170 in Okatie. All 4 lanes are blocked

An accident is blocking traffic on Highway 170 at its intersection with Highway 462, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.

“Please take care in driving and expect delays,” the Sheriff’s Office said.

All westbound lanes of Highway 170 are blocked, the Sheriff’s Office said at 9:45 a.m

Motorists are being rerouted down Highway 462 and are being asked to avoid the area.

A video posted on Snapchat at 9:30 a.m. showed one vehicle on fire.
