Accident blocked 4 lanes of traffic in downtown Beaufort Thursday afternoon
A head-on collision at the the intersection of Bay Street and Charles Street in downtown Beaufort on Thursday afternoon had traffic “blocked in every direction,” the Beaufort Police Department said.
Injuries were described as minor.
At 5:00 p.m., officials said the intersection was open again.
