Two-car accident closes Woods Memorial Bridge in Beaufort Friday afternoon

A two-car accident closed the Woods Memorial Bridge at at 2:46 p.m. and it will reopen around 3:35 p.m., according to Beaufort Police Department Deputy Chief Stephenie Price.

Price said they don’t know the reason for the crash and no one was injured.

To get to Lady’s Island on an alternate route drivers can take McTeer bridge.
