Crash in Beaufort closes all lanes of Boundary Street for Tuesday afternoon commuters

One block of Boundary Street in Beaufort was temporarily closed after a crash near the Union Street intersection Tuesday afternoon, according to the Beaufort Police Department.

The crash took place at the intersection of Boundary and Union Street just before 4:30 p.m., according to an alert from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. No injuries were reported.

All lanes of Boundary Street were closed between Palmetto Street and Union Street were temporarily closed as of 4:37 p.m. Tuesday. Beaufort police reopened the block just after 5:30 p.m.

A spokesperson from the Beaufort Police Department could not immediately be reached for additional details on the crash.
