Accident on Hilton Head bridges slowing Monday afternoon traffic off island, police say
A car accident at the Hilton Head bridges is slowing traffic coming off the island Monday afternoon, according to an alert sent from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred just after 3 p.m. on the westbound bridge near the Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge, according to the alert. The left lane of the highway is blocked.
Drivers coming from Hilton Head to Bluffton should expect delays.
