Accident on Highway 278 slowing Thursday morning traffic to Hilton Head, officials say
A car accident on U.S. 278 in Bluffton is blocking Thursday morning traffic to Hilton Head Island, according to an alert sent from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 278 and Moss Creek Drive, according to the alert. The left and center eastbound lanes of the highway are blocked as emergency crews respond to the scene.
