At least one person injured in Monday crash on Bluffton Parkway, cops say

At least one person was injured Monday afternoon after a crash on Bluffton Parkway, according to an alert from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s office.
The crash, which took place before 4:48 p.m., happened on Bluffton Parkway near Hampton Parkway. Both traffic lanes heading west were blocked and traffic cameras in the area had been turned off.
As of 5 p.m., the Bluffton Fire Department had left the area, said Chief Den Rushing with the department. Information on how many people were injured or whether they were taken to the hospital was not immediately available.
Drivers can expect delays heading into Bluffton and Okatie, police said in the alert.
