Drivers told to avoid area near Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head
Drivers heading toward Independence Boulevard have been told to avoid the area near Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head after a crash resulted in lane closures, the City of Hardeeville said in alert Wednesday morning.
The eastbound lanes of Independence Boulevard near Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head and Hilton Head Lakes were shut down after the crash which happened around 8:16 a.m.
The crash is affecting traffic on U.S. 278, John Smith Road and the area of I-95 near Exit 8. Drivers are instructed to find an alternate route, if possible, police said in the alert.
