Wednesday morning crash on U.S. 278 causes morning rush-hour traffic jam in Bluffton
The center and left lanes of U.S. 278 heading west were blocked Wednesday morning following a crash in Bluffton, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office alert.
The crash, which took place before 8:05 a.m., happened on U.S. 278 and Moss Creek Drive. Traffic was being directed down the right westbound lane on U.S. 278.
As of 8:18 a.m., firefighters, police and Beaufort County EMS were still at the scene working to clear the crash.
