Crash in Port Royal blocking lanes and delaying traffic Thursday afternoon
A Port Royal crash Thursday afternoon is delaying traffic on Parris Island Gateway, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office alert around 3:15 p.m.
The crash took place near Midtown Drive and blocked all lanes heading north on Parris Island Gateway.
Drivers should avoid the area, if possible, police said in the alert. Traffic is expected to be heavier than usual in the area until at least 4:15 p.m.
