Crash Tuesday afternoon causes traffic delays and blocks Hilton Head lane on U.S. 278
A crash during rush hour on Hilton Head blocked a lane heading west on U.S. 278, according to an alert from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash took place on U.S. 278 near Spanish Wells Road. The left-center lane of U.S. 278 was blocked by emergency responders working the crash.
Drivers can expect delays and traffic for the next several hours, police said in the alert.
