Crash Wednesday morning on S.C. 170 blocked lane of the highway in Okatie, police say
A crash Wednesday morning blocked a lane heading west on S.C. 170, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office alert.
The crash took place before 11 a.m. on S.C. 170 and Commerce Place East in Okatie. The right westbound lane was blocked and could cause delays in the area, police said in the alert.
As of 11:08 a.m., emergency responders were still on the scene of the three-car collision, according to Bluffton Township Fire District Battalion Chief Jayme Beach. The collision, he said, was minor and there were no serious injuries.
