Yemassee crash blocks all lanes of Old Sheldon Church Road Wednesday, police say

A rollover crash Wednesday afternoon blocked all lanes of Old Sheldon Church Road, according to an alert from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and the Yemassee Police Department Facebook page.
The crash took place on Old Sheldon Church Road and Le Cruset Road in Yemassee, the alert said. The crash was “a little bit down” from that intersection, Yemassee Town Clerk Matt Garnes said.
Beaufort County Emergency Medical Services and the Sheldon Fire Department are at the crash, according to the Yemassee Police Department post. Yemassee Police Department helped until emergency services arrived, Garnes said.
Drivers should consider alternate routes, the department said in the post.
The S.C. Highway Patrol is handling the crash, Garnes said.
