Two-car crash on Lady’s Island Drive cleared after lanes blocked Thursday afternoon
A two-car crash Thursday afternoon blocked all lanes heading south on Lady’s Island Drive, according to an alert from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred before 2:30 p.m. Thursday on Lady’s Island Drive and Sea Island Parkway, the alert said.
The crash involved two cars at the traffic light, according to Lady’s Island/ St. Helena Fire District spokesperson Scott Harris. The drivers were the only occupants in each vehicle, Harris said. One driver was transported as a precaution by Beaufort County EMS and the other driver was not, Harris said.
“Traffic is now flowing back to normal,” Harris said.
