Crash on U.S. 278 cleared after backing up Friday morning traffic on Hilton Head
A crash on U.S. 278 at Wilborn Road on Hilton Head that blocked all westbound lanes of the highway Friday morning has been cleared as of 10:27 a.m.
Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Bob Bromage said that the crash involved two vehicles.
Three people were transported to the hospital to be evaluated for injuries.
The crash occurred sometime before 9:23 a.m., according to a police alert.
