Afternoon crash causes traffic delay along SC Highway 462 in Jasper County, officials say

A crash on S.C. 462 caused Thursday afternoon traffic delays, according to an alert from Jasper County Emergency Services.

The accident involved three vehicles and no injuries were reported, according to Jasper County Fire Rescue spokesperson Lt. Garrett Lucas. Drivers on S.C. 462 and Snake Road experienced delays after a crash that occurred before 5 p.m., the alert said.

As of 5:46 p.m. one lane was blocked the other was “flowing westbound,” Lucas said.
