Heads up drivers! Lane closures this week on I-95 near Beaufort, Jasper counties

There will be nightly lane closures on I-95 leading into Beaufort and Jasper counties this week.

If you’re road tripping to Hilton Head Island or using the highway to head north to Columbia, you’ll want to make a note of the closures.

All week: Northbound lanes, both left and right, from Exit 22 to Exit 33 will close periodically overnight for guardrail installation.

Sunday night from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. the southbound left lane will be closed for paving from Exit 33 (Point South) to two miles south of Exit 33 (Point South).

Monday night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the southbound right lane will be closed for paving from Exit 33 (Point South) to two miles south of Exit 33 (Point South).

Tuesday night from 7 p.m. to 7 am the southbound left lane will be closed for paving from two miles south of Exit 33 (Point South) to one mile north of Exit 28 (Coosawhatchie).

Wednesday night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the southbound right lane will be closed for paving from two miles south of Exit 33 (Point South) to one mile north of Exit 28 (Coosawhatchie).

Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the southbound left lane will be closed for paving from one mile north of Exit 28 (Coosawhatchie) to one mile south of Exist 28 (Coosawhatchie).

Friday night 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. the southbound right lane will be closed for paving from one mile north of Exit 28 (Coosawhatchie) to one mile south of Exit 28 (Coosawhatchie).
