Traffic heavy after accidents on both sides of Hilton Head bridges
Traffic is heavy in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 278 on Wednesday morning after accidents on either side of the Hilton Head bridges.
Both accidents — one in the Moss Creek area and one in the Windmill Harbour area — had been moved to the median just before 8 a.m., witnesses report.
Google Maps showed traffic building along U.S. 278 and along the Bluffton Parkway.
