Beaufort crash that blocked SC 170 lanes has been cleared

A wreck reported Saturday afternoon blocked all westbound lanes of S.C. 170 in Beaufort for around two hours.
The crash happened near W.K. Alston Drive around 2:15 p.m., according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Management tweet. A separate tweet said the wreck had been cleared by 4:30 p.m.
The conditions of the crash or information on any possible injuries has not been released.
