SC 170 cleared after Okatie crash shut down multiple lanes
All lanes were reopened on S.C. 170 around 6 p.m. after a crash in Okatie around 5 p.m. on Sunday, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office advisory.
The two-vehicle collision occurred just a few minutes before 5 p.m., Sheriff’s Office Capt. Bob Bromage said later Sunday afternoon. It ended in minor injuries and no one was transported to a local hospital.
Both eastbound lanes were blocked right before Callawassie Drive, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
A Beaufort County traffic camera at the intersection showed eastbound traffic converging into a single line and being routed around the scene around 5 p.m.
