Vehicle cleared from right lane of US 278 heading onto Hilton Head
Traffic was moving again on eastbound US 278 of the Hilton Head bridges shortly after noon, traffic cameras showed.
A construction truck broke down in the right lane on the bridge and briefly blocked the lane, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office alert.
Traffic was backed up past Moss Creek around 11:45 a.m., traffic cameras showed.
