Crash cleared near Hilton Head bridge
This morning’s rush hour traffic may be further slowed by a two-vehicle crash near the Hilton Head bridge.
Traffic cameras show the vehicles in the median of U.S. 278. The vehicles appear to have been driving in the eastbound lanes heading onto the island.
All lanes remained open as police arrived on scene around 8:20 a.m.
No injuries have been reported, according to the highway patrol.
The crash was cleared around 8:40 a.m.
