This is why traffic will be backed up Sunday morning
There will be intermittent lane closures and traffic disruption Sunday morning as the Bluffton Police Department reconstructs an accident on U.S. 278 that killed a Hilton Head Island teacher and her unborn child.
The reconstruction will happen at the intersection of Buck Island Road between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. where Jesse Floyd, 27, was killed when the vehicle she was in was involved in a three-vehicle crash.
Floyd, 26 weeks pregnant, was about to start school as a second grade teacher at Hilton Head Elementary school.
