Tree trimming could cause delays Tuesday on US 278 near Moss Creek

Crews with Beaufort County and the S.C. Department of Transportation will be trimming trees Tuesday along a stretch of U.S. 278 in greater Bluffton.

The project, which will center around the Moss Creek Drive area, is expected to result in temporary lane closures and traffic delays, according to a county news release.

The purpose of the tree trimming is to improve viability, the release said.

Drivers are asked to use caution when driving in the area.
