Expect delays, lane closures next week on Hilton Head Island

Construction work on March 13 and March 14 will close lanes along a portion of Spanish Wells Road on Hilton Head Island.

The lane closures will be between William Hilton Parkway and Thomas Cohen Drive, according to a news release from contractor Preferred Materials, Inc.

The road construction project and resulting lane closures are dependent on the weather, the release said.

Drivers are asked to use caution and expect delays when traveling in these areas.
