Lady’s Island Walmart work to shift traffic this week

Construction of the new Walmart on Lady’s Island will require a traffic shift this week on Sea Island Parkway.

Both lanes of Sea Island Parkway will be alternately closed by flagmen from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. through Thursday. Crews will be working to connect the water line to the new Walmart at Airport Circle.

Drivers should be aware of workers, their equipment and reduced speed limits.
