Crash closes Okatie Highway, one victim airlifted to hospital

Two drivers were injured, and one was trapped inside their vehicle, after a crash in the area of Evans Way and Okatie Highway.

The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. on Monday, according to Capt. Randy Hunter of the Bluffton Township Fire District.

Okatie Highway has been shut down at Evans Way.

Both drivers involved were taken to a hospital, one of whom was transported by helicopter.
