One lane in both the east and westbound directions along a stretch of U.S. 278 near the Bluffton Parkway flyover will close Friday at 7 p.m. and reopen the following morning at 6 a.m.

The lanes will be closed between Buckingham Plantation Drive and the bridges to Hilton Head Island, according to a news release from construction firm R.R. Dawson Bridge Co.
