Retired Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sgt. Loring “Stoney” Putnam Stone, 74, of Beaufort and widower of Eva Margaret “Peggy” Stone, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
