You might not believe it, but all these snakes aren’t here just to scare us
Tony Mills, the education director for the Low Country Institute at Spring Island, will present “Lowcountry Snakes” from 11 a.m. to noon at the Coastal Discovery Museum, 70 Honey Horn Drive on Hilton Head Island.
From the venomous rattlesnakes to colorful milk snakes, this region is home to numerous species that play essential roles in the ecosystem.
Cost is $12 for adults and $7 for children ages 5-12. Reservations are required.
