Beaufort County school board to hold budget forum Thursday

The Beaufort County school board will hold the first of two public forums on its proposed budget Thursday at Bluffton High School.

The hour-long forum begins at 6 p.m. Participants will receive a presentation on the budget and will also have a chance to make comments to board members and ask questions.

The second forum is scheduled for 6 p.m. May 9 at Battery Creek High School. The board will officially certify its budget at its May 17 meeting at the Bluffton library.
