Seminar set for high school students

Local businesses are sponsoring a motivational seminar for high school juniors and seniors on Saturday.

The event is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 5 at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort, with a variety of professionals addressing topics from money management and car maintenance and health and wellness.

Speakers include two doctors and representatives from Outside Hilton Head, Palmetto Animal League, St. Lukes Church on Hilton Head, Coastal States Bank and Island Tire.

Registration is $5. To RSVP, call volunteers at 843-384-2859 or 843-301-6147 by March 1.
