Ridgeland-Hardeeville High earns state academic award

Jasper County’s Ridgeland-Hardeeville High School has earned a 2015 Palmetto Silver Award for academic achievement, the S.C. Department of Education.

The 2015 Palmetto Awards recognize gains in academic performance in the last school year. Ridgeland-Hardeeville High was the sole school in the four-school district to receive an award.

“We are very proud of their work and we expect to see our other schools reaching similar goals very soon,” said interim-Jasper County School District superintendent.
