Hilton Head luncheon to feature authors, including Pat Conroy

The Women's Association of Hilton Head Island will host best-selling author Pat Conroy and Bluffton author and University of South Carolina Beaufort professor Ellen Malphrus at its December luncheon.

Conroy wrote the foreword for Malphrus' debut novel, "Untying the Moon."

A social hour is at 11 a.m., and the luncheon is at noon Dec. 9, at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island, 130 Shipyard Drive, Hilton Head.

The cost of the luncheon is $38; $30 for members.

Malphrus' book will be available for purchase, and a book signing will follow the luncheon.
