Is your Beaufort Co. student fully registered? Make sure they’ve completed these three things

Whether your student is completely new to Beaufort County schools or your sending your high school senior off for their last, first day, here are three things required for students to be fully registered.

1. Students need proof of residency

The district requires proof of residency for all students every school year. Proof of residency must be provided for a student’s enrollment to be complete.

Parents should download and complete the 2023-24 proof of residency form.

2. Immunizations must be up to date

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control requires specific vaccinations for students based on their age. If students don’t have their vaccinations or if the school doesn’t have their proof of immunization, they may be prevented from returning to school on time.

Form 2740/Form 4024

New student’s registration immunization records must now be on the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) Form 2740 for Form 4024. Forms may be obtained from your pediatrician’s office or the Beaufort County Health Department located at 4819 Bluffton Parkway, Bluffton, SC 29910, (843) 757-2251, or the main office at 601 Wilmington Street, Beaufort, SC 29902, (843) 525-7615.

Immunization requirements

Specific grade level requirements for the 2022-23 are listed on the SCDHEC Childcare & School Vaccine Requirements webpage.

3. Make sure SNAPCODE information is correct

The SNAPCODE is a unique registration number that connects students information with what is currently on file with the school. SNAPCODEs are changed on a yearly basis.

In July, parents should have received an email notifying parents/guardians of registration and SNAPCODE information. You will use the same username and password if you have an existing account.

If parents/guardians haven’t received a SNAPCODE or need internet access or assistance, contact your student’s school. The school staff will assist you with the process.

If you have questions about registration contact your student’s zoned school to receive the required forms and documents: https://www.beaufortschools.net/families/registration
