Car strikes school bus near Sea Pines gate with students aboard
A car struck the side of a school bus on Hilton Head Island’s Greenwood Drive around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, Beaufort County School District spokesman Jim Foster said.
Four students were aboard the bus en route to Hilton Head Island Middle School when the incident occurred near the Sea Pines Plantation gate. No injuries were reported, though there is “minor damage” to the bus, he added.
A substitute bus picked up the students and took them to school.
