School bus emerges unscathed after minor accident in Beaufort

A Beaufort County School District bus transporting special-needs students was struck by a car Tuesday afternoon in Beaufort, resulting in no injuries and no damage to the bus.

Seven special-needs students were headed home from Mossy Oaks and Broad River elementary schools when the accident took place just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of Boundary Street and Marsh Road. District spokesman Jim Foster said the bus suffered no damage.
