Hester “Josephine” Brown Polite, 89, of the Cedar Grove community of St. Helena Island and mother of Evelena Polite, Vanessa P. Bryan, Joenathan Polite, Willie Polite and Lavern Polite, died Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
