Marine Corps Lt. Col. Frederick J. McEwan Jr., 87, of Hilton Head Island, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Keith Funeral Home on Hilton Head Island. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Church on Hilton Head, with interment to follow at Six Oaks Cemetery.
