Alexander John Smith Jr., 30, of Yemassee and son of Vernettra Singleton and Alexander John Smith Sr., died Friday, Jan. 8, 2016, at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Allen Funeral Home in Coosawatchie.Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
