Rosa Polite, 68, formerly of the Capers community of St. Helena Island and daughter of the late Namon Polite and Massoline Smith Polite, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Helen Galloway's Memorial Chapel of Chisholm Galloway Home for Funerals.

Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday at the Orange Grove Baptist Church on St. Helena Island. Burial will follow in the Capers Cemetery on St. Helena Island.
