Sylvia Alston

Sylvia L. Alston, 61, a native of Beaufort, a retired U.S. Navy veteran, and daughter of the late W. Kent Alston and Mayme Eady Alston, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at her residence in Augusta, Ga.

Public viewing is 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Marshel’s Wright-Donaldson Home For Funerals.

Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Friday at Beaufort National Cemetery with military honors.
