Evelyn Smalls

Evelyn Smalls, 91, of St. Helena Island and widow of Benjamin Smalls, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, at the home of her daughter and son-law, Carolyn and the Rev. James Irby Sr. in Beaufort.

Funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bethesda Christian Fellowship, St. Helena Island. Burial will follow in the Beaufort National Cemetery.

Wake services are from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Joseph M. Wright Memorial Chapel of Marshel’s Wright-Donaldson Home For Funerals.
