Roberta Thomas Howard, 54, formerly of the Saxonville community on St. Helena Island, daughter of Arthur Thomas and the late Florence Hamilton Thomas, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Va.
