Robert “Freezey” Smalls, 53, of Barstow, Calif., husband of DeJoun Pearl Smalls and son of Christine Simmons Smalls of the Eddings Point community of St. Helena Island, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, in Loma Linda Veterans Administration Hospital.
