John “Jack” H. O’Connor, 82, of Bluffton, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant-colonel, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016.

A private ceremony will be held at a later date at Beaufort National Ceremony.

Donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
